Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find answers to everything you need to know before starting the training.
How much will it cost in total?
The total price of the training varies greatly and depends on many factors such as the amount of private practice driving, the quality of the driving lessons and how efficiently the traffic instructor works. All compulsory training costs NOK 14,520, but you must also count on a few driving hours so that you drive well enough to start the compulsory course. You must also have a driving test. Fees to the Norwegian Road Administration and NAF are also added. You can find the complete price list here . Feel free to check our campaigns and offer packages for an extra good deal! The super package for NOK. NOK 19,990 is a good starting point for most people.
Should I choose automatic or manual?
The future is undoubtedly automatic, almost everyone chooses electric cars now and they don't have gears. Advantage manual: can drive all cars. Advantage automatic: simpler, cheaper, environment, perhaps also safer. If you change your mind later, you ONLY need a driving test to get the manual sticker. We of course have both with us.
What do I need to bring to the driving lessons?
You must bring valid identification, access to a driver's license and a good mood :)
Is it worth choosing a package or an offer?
When you buy a package or go for one of our offers, you pay an agreed sum in advance and receive a discount that is greater the higher the amount paid in advance. Advantages of this solution are that the training becomes more affordable and you don't have to think about payment for each agreed driving hour. When/if the pre-paid amount is used up, driving hours are paid continuously until the training is finished.
How many hours do I need before I can take the drive?
We use all our experience and competence to get you ready for the start-up in as few hours as possible and that you will pass on the first attempt! The compulsory lessons must be taken by everyone and the "regular" hours vary according to how much you have practiced at home and how efficiently and well you and the traffic teacher work together.
What is compulsory teaching in class B training?
- Step assessment step 2
- Step assessment step 3
- Safety course on track (replaces what was previously called "smooth driving")
- Road safety course (13 hours)
PS: Overtaking is not a separate mandatory part of the training. We illuminate the topic of overtaking throughout the training as the curriculum lays out.
How long does it take from the time I start training until I can take the test?
It takes from 1 - 2 months. The most beneficial thing for learning and finances is to start early, perhaps already from the age of 16. The theory test at You can take B when you are 17.5 years old.
